Overview.

The First Technique course aims to give students the basic skills to increase their reading skills significantly.

Topics.

• Students will understand the importance of why we wish to read faster.
• The basics of speed reading will be explained. This is necessary as many speed reading courses offer, unrealistic expectations.
• Students will learn the basic skills of speed reading, and will learn the most important technique to increasing reading speed.
• Calculating your reading speed in words per minute, and also calculating comprehension will be taught.
• Students will understand how to practice speed reading in order to achieve a higher reading speed. This regime of practice usually leads to an increase in reading speed by threefold.
