Mehmet Tashanligil
Language: Turkish, English

Mehmet Tashanligil is a Turkish entrepreneur, educator and Grandmaster Trainer for the Tony Buzan Group, certified across all three disciplines: Mind Mapping, Memory and Speed Reading. His work rests on a simple conviction: reading faster is not about consuming more, but about living deeper. His brand motto, “Read fast, live deep” captures that philosophy.

He is the founder of
Superead, a subscription-based speed-reading and learning platform with a global English-language app and a Turkish-language programme, Süper Hızlı Okuma. Through the platform and its live programmes, Mehmet and his team reach around 200,000 students every year, from primary-school children to university candidates and working professionals. Superead’s 100-level progression system, 21-day challenge framework and comprehension-verified certification are designed to turn reading speed into a measurable, lasting skill.

Since 2015 he has delivered his keynote on speed reading, memory techniques and mind mapping to schools, public audiences and leading organisations, including Google, Apple, Nike, SpaceX, Turkcell, Insider and Turkish government institutions. He runs the Hızlı Okuma Eğitici Eğitimi trainer-certification programme and has trained instructors in India, Singapore and Vietnam, building a growing network of certified trainers who bring the method into their own classrooms.

Mehmet is the author of Nereden Başlasak? ("Where Should We Start?") and of Anlayarak Hızlı Okuma İlkokul Eğitim Kitabı, a primary-school reading workbook paired with video lessons. He is currently developing Superead Kids, an AI-adaptive reading platform for ages 4–12, and co-authoring, with Grandmaster TBLI Jérôme Hoarau, a book on speed reading and entrepreneurship.

His approach draws on the Turkish notion of maarif — knowledge that forms character, not merely information that fills the mind. For him, every technique, from eye-span drills to memory pegs, serves a larger purpose: helping people read with attention, remember with meaning and think with clarity.

Based in Istanbul and working across Turkish and English, he divides his time between building Superead, training trainers and speaking to audiences who want to learn how to learn.
